Kinetic Sculpture: Crib mobile

I decided to embrace the sculpture portion of the project and extend it into an art project.

Kinetic Sculpture: Film projector

From all the gears introduced in class, I was most fascinated by the Geneva Mechanism, since this is how old-time projectors would run. During my first attempt to make a kinetic sculpture, I thus wanted to make a very simplified version of a movie of a projector. Unfortunately, I was incredibly unsuccessful in making the gears fit together in a way that would achieve my idea. I hope to redesign this project later in the semester so that it actually helps.
